The National Council of Self-Advocates has designed an information-packed symposium focused on one of today’s most challenging issues; accessible transportation. Mohammed Yousef will provide an update on current and future accessible transportation policies and research and Danielle McGill will talk about her ground-breaking work to help people use public transportation. Both Mohammed and Danielle will talk about their personal challenges and successes.
This symposium includes an interactive forum for self-advocates to share their own experiences and solutions. The symposia will close with self-advocates creating action plans detailing the steps they will take to address transportation challenges in their own communities.
