Yayu Kao

Yayu Kao has been a social worker at PAPID in Taiwan since March 2013. This is her first experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and their families, which is different from her previous work experience in the disability field. Her main duty in PAPID is to organize meetings and events to support people with intellectual disabilities for self-advocacy, and also try to interact with the similar associations or organizations overseas. During her career, she has traveled to Japan (9 months), Australia (1 year), and Finland (10 months) for different learning experiences.
