Richard Davis, M.S.W., is a Policy Advisor on the Workforce Systems Policy Team at the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP). Richard works across government agencies to align policy in support of competitive, integrated employment. He has primary responsibility for a number of Federal policy initiatives focused specifically on promoting the employment and socioeconomic advancement of youth and adults with disabilities, including the Department’s Employment First State Leadership Mentoring Program (EFSLMP). Prior to ODEP, Richard was the Director of Public Policy for The Arc Maryland. In 2013, Richard was the Disability Policy Leadership Fellow for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) and a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) fellow from 2012 to 2013 at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.
